There was some new, loose snow over the packed base, increasing with elevation to 3"-5" on the ridge. Some drifting up high. Crossings were all reasonable with low water levels. There were a few blowdowns, none bad, other than the ones we took care of.
We wore microspike ST's all day. There were a few places where snowshoes would have helped but we did no postholing except when we ventured off the packed track.
