After 2 unsuccessful attempts last winter to find the register on the "true" E peak, Fran and I tried one more time. Leaving the Sawyer River Trail, we followed the N shore of the Swift River up to the ski trail bridge. We then bee lined for the east E peak, through mostly open woods, where we easily found the heretic register once more. Heading to the other peak brought us through alternating thick/moderately thick vegetation - same stuff as last winter. This time, we got lucky. We thought we were on the summit when we saw a small weather-worn sign nailed to a tree with the numbers 3310 carved into it. Approx 75' beyond, we found the canister tied to a tree about 10' off the ground. The register can be reached by climbing on a big rock. The summit area is wide open. Curiously enough, during the entire hike we found 3 old balloons - 2 mylar Valentine's day balloons and 1 rubber Friendly's Ice Cream balloon.

Do you have any opinion on which is higher?

All the bumps up there appeared to be approx the same height. We didn't have an altimeter to compare the various heights.
