Hurricane via North Approach 03/17

Today we did what turned out to be a quite easy but somewhat blustery climb of Hurricane (in the Adirondacks) via the northern approach. I've never climbed Hurricane via that way. A nice and straightforward alternative to the more common route. Trail conditions were a couple of inches of powder over a quite firm base.

Cool! That's a great trail. The ridge to the north (Weston Mtn., etc.) is nice too.
