Stony Brook Trail -> Carter-Moriah Trail -> Imp Shelter ->North Carter Trail -> Imp Trail.
This hike was to red-line the last segment of the Carter-Moriah trail, and to bag the Imp Shelter spur. Stony Brook Trail is in great shape and very enjoyable ... hadn't been on it in the last 10 years. Carter-Moriah Trail, in area just south of the Imp Shelter spur, was recently cleared of a large number of blowdowns ... wood chips from the axe work were everywhere. Huge thanks to the trail crew or person who did all of that work! The rest of the trails were in good shape.
