Caps Ridge to Jefferson, Gulfside and Clay Loop to Clay, return via Clay Loop to Gulfside to Cornice to Caps Ridge

Trail Conditions: Trails are all in great shape. Caps on Caps Ridge are some of the hardest climbing I have done in the Whites.
Special Equipment Required: Hat, sunglasses, sunblock, and camera for absolutely picture-postcard day. Minimum equipment on the steep bits of Caps - put away my poles or tossed them down ahead of me.
Comments: can't beat ~6 hours above treeline - love the late afternoon when everyone else has gone down
