Trails: LivermoreRoad to Greeley Ponds trail to Kanc Brook XC trail to Livermore Trail and back on Livermore Road. Total of 9.5 miles.
Equipment: BC skis recommended, but some in the group had classic skis. Skins are highly recommended, especially for the climb up the Kanc Brook trail.
Comments: The day couldn't have been any better for doing this trip. There was no wind in the woods and the snow was unbroken powder. The sun was out the whole time and because the air was so dry, it didn't feel very cold. We saw a baby moose while we were on the Kanc Brook trail. We didn't see the mama so there was no need to take a detour.
