Date of Hike: Monday, April 26, 2010

Trail Conditions: Still a few patches of ice and snow remain on the north side of the mountain near the summit, but all snow/ice are easily circumvented or have plentiful rocks and roots poking through the ice to step on.

Mud is prevalent in the normal places, plus areas were snow is melting, some water on the ledges may be slippery.... if hiking in the early morning there is a good chance of black ice on the ledges until the spring sun warms things up.

Special Equipment Required: None really, bugs seem to be just starting to come out, but no problem yet.

Comments: Temp today was about 67 degrees at trailhead, little wind at the top, clear visibility under a 80-90% overcast, but sun did poke out a few times. Someone did a lot of hauling, there is a new door installed on the fire tower!! Works great!
