Trail conditions: Soft, wet snow. It had the consistency of a snow cone on a hot day. In most places, it was about 2 to 3 feet deep with a few bare spots. I wore snowshoes from the parking area. Even with the snowshoes, I post holed the trail. Some of the post holes were pretty impressive. No ice to speak of. Trail was well marked and easy to follow.
Special Equipment: Snowshoes, gaiters, waterproof boots. This was a wet one and it will only be getting worse.
Comments: Spring conditions on this hike. I got to the parking lot at Rollins State Park and couldn't see to the other side of the lot. It was wet, windy and nasty. I assumed the view from the summit was more of the same, so I turned around there.
