Great place to kayak camp. Campsites are spread out and most have remarkable settings. Put-in is at the south end of the lake. My site was only a half mile north, so a quick paddle to the car to grab what I forgot (thermos) was easy. Many sites within 3 miles of the put-in, many on the islands. What surprised me was the view of the high peaks as I made my way north. Having Snowy Mt. to look at all day was a plus. At night when all the clouds cleared off I was reminded of how big the sky is up there - the stars were so bright that it felt like you could reach out and touch them. GO!

I see it's an Impex - kevlar?

Carbon/kevlar. It's what Impex calls their K-Lite layup. Very light, stiff & $$$
