This hike is a nice little gem that never disappoints especially on a perfectly clear day like Wednesday. It's only a few minutes from Greenville and the lake. I hiked the Loop Trail which is the most scenic. One of the best views in the region with little effort. 270+ degree view. Surprisingly few bugs but it was fairly breezy. We had the trail to ourselves. The trail is relatively dry despite the wet month we had and lots of moose nuggets and tracks but no moose this time. If ever visiting this area to knock out Prominence 50 peaks in the area do yourself a favor and check out this little gem. Make a night of it, there are numerous overnight sites along the loop. For lots of pics and specifics check out my blog http://tomcatoutdoors.blogspot.com/2013/06/little-moose-and-tale-of-two-beavers.html
