We had a outstanding hike/climb up the Eagle slide on Giant this past sat, the 24th .As usual we got up late on friday nite about 3am and this put us at the trail head at close to noon,4hrs to the top with lunch 1/2 hr on the scree before the slide."The climb was outstanding'' the perfect weather truely made this hike,I can not Imagine what its like even 20% wet. I climbed in my Five Ten acsess/ aproach shoes that everyone except me hates .Like glue on the slide, just like my rock shoes only no smell or pain So we get home (Long Iland) and my dear friend asks me if I have his water filter.Sorry mate was my reply,any one up that way,or headed up the slide there is a Pur water filter in the steam bed possibly in the sac (gray) If you find it ,all I ask is that you carry it out and put it to good use the filter is newhappy trails
