Date of Hike: 1/10/10
Trail Conditions: Packed out all the way to the hut, deep snow near the end of Valley Way. Two blowdown. Summit extremely wind blown, some drifts.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes helpful, could have switched to crampons for summit, but left on snowshoes. Face protection essential at hut and above.
Comments: Extremely windy day on the summit, windless on VW. We saw about 17 people today, including a group from the Dartmouth Outting Club.
