Date of Hike: Sunday, June 14th
Trails: Old Speck Trail, Mahoosuc Trail, Centennial Trail
Trail Conditions: Blowdowns have been cleared from the Mahoosuc Notch all the way to past Dream Lake. Excellent trail work getting those off trail. The footing for the first fifteen miles is rugged, steep in spots, and slick mixture of boulders and slab. The trail does get a bit narrow and overgrown in spots past Mount Success over to Cascade Mountain. Blowdowns patches are on the trail through this part in spots as well, worst is just north of Cascade Mountain. The Mahoosuc Notch is a lot of fun to navigate through, if you like King Ravine's Subway and Ice Caves you'll like this part as it's longer but not as strenuous.
Comments: Great day along the Mahoosuc Range with Kyle. Enjoyed the rough footing and roller coaster up and downs throughout the day. Report / Pictures
