Date of Hike: 6/23/2012
Trail Conditions: We did this hike clockwise so went up Imp Trail first. Very easy to find from Camp Dodge, just to straight and you'll be there within a couple hundred yards. Trail very well maintained, no big blowdowns, well graded, most bog bridges new, etc. On the way down, there were a few washouts on the Carter Dome and 19 Mile Brook trails, and one bridge was half missing, but planks were stacked up for new construction. Nice trails all around.
Special Equipment Required: Nothing in particular. Bugs were barely noticeable.
Comments: Day started off nice but we started to get a light show just as we reached Middle Carter summit. The biggest storm looked like it hit Adams and Madison pretty hard, then went north of us. Saw a couple strikes in the Moriah vicinity. On the way down, another storm seems to have passed just south of us. I guess we were in the right place. Rained some but never downpoured. NH 4ks #42 and #43 for me.
