Trail Conditions: About 12 inches of new snow. Pretty well consolidated until you bust out on the rocks. A little bit of ice just before busting out as well. Lots of unconsolidated snow once you're out on the rocks. It was a bit challenging hoisting ourselves up loose snow banks near the top.

Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes all day, even on the road. We were too lazy to strap them to our packs. Most everyone else we saw were not using snowshoes, and complained about not having them. (Even some people who had shoes on their packs, maybe they were too lazy to put them on.)

Comments: 30-35 mph winds at the top, but a pretty nice day overall. A number of people turned around due to the snow and wind, but we didn't find it too bad. We were in and out in 3 hours.

Parking is plowed for about 10-12 cars.
