Set out on the Burrows trail at 6:30 to make sure there was enough time to catch the moonrise. Surprised by the amount of new snow the trail had this week. Trail was barebootable on the lower section. Many branches and trees bent over from the weight of the ice. Needed some traction for the last .3, especially the area totally exposed to the north wind. Icy on top. Perfect timing to see a bright orange moon appear in the east. Nice soft snow to slide down on for the trip down.
