It's looking like the storm about to hit the Whites Friday thru Saturday is going to be a snow event rather than rain. Currently 4-7" is forecast for Friday in Lincoln! 
I was on Moosilauke last weekend and Gorge Brook had good ski conditions from 4600 to 3700 feet. Unfortunatly I didn't have my skis. Sunday I plan on going back up (with backcountry gear) and doing another recon, and hopefully a run. I'll probably start from Ravine Road or the Lodge if the road's still open, and go up Gorge Brook and down Carriage Road. Will carry snowshoes and crampons in case of less than favorable condidtions.
Anyone interested?
