Trail Conditions:
Stony Brook trail - well tracked with minimal blowdows easy to bypass.
Carter-Moriah trail - Followed a single set of snowshoe tracks off and on. Found and followed real trail most of the way on the descent. Trail is now broken out by 5 sets of snowshoes. From the summit it looked as though the Carter-Moriah trail heading North was also broken out.
We encountered tight trails and blowdowns on the CM trail.
Special Equipment Required: Bare booted until just before river crossing - then used microspikes - then snowshoes about 2 miles into the Stony Brook trail for the rest of the day.
Comments: Optional - Just another Bluebird Day in the Whites! MarkL completed his Winter 115 list - Congrats!
