Trail Conditions: Conditions were very good for 90% of this trail. Some blowdowns have been walked around enough so the heard path are all quite solid....as of the 8th at least. However.... the real trail was lost somewhere around the last 1/2 mile and we defaulted to the most well used heard path. This ended up taking us way to the south side of the summit before we started to go up the last part of the cone.
Special Equipment Required: We wore Micro Spikes the entire trip.
Comments: - The last section of this trail will be a bear during the next month as the snow starts to soften. Getting that last 1/2 mile done will probably entail a LOT of post holing! Good Luck!
