Mount Jefferson
Air Line / Short Line / Randolph Path / Israel Ridge Path / Gulfside Trail / Jefferson Loop (same way back)
Date of Hike: 02/22/2014 (Saturday)
Trail Conditions: Had to throw on snowshoes almost from the start, Randolph got very deep in sections...above treeline was a thin frozen crust of ice sitting on top of the snow (climbing some of that was slow going when the ice breaks away and snow slides down)...Jefferson Loop had some rocky sections, most could be avoided
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes, goggles and balaclava for the wind.
Comments: Fantastic day with some "creative" route finding above tree line, skies were a combination of dark clouds and patches of blue, some photos and a video here...http://brian03104.blogspot.com/2014/02/02222014-mount-jefferson.html
