Oahu hiking is crazy. Big exposures along knife edge ridges. Who knew?
I hoped to do the Haiku Stairs when we were there but no trespass was being enforced.

Wow! That’s insane. Had never heard of the Haiku Stairs before seeing your post, but I just read up on them. Too bad they’re closed … almost worth paying the fine though.
Another fun fact I learned on our last day on O’ahu is that city of Honolulu highpoint Konahuanui (3,150 feet) is #6 on the list of “selected” city limits highpoints over on peakbagger. The name of the peak literally translates to “large testicles.” No joke.
