Mount Moriah
Trails: Rattle River and Kenduskeag Trails
Conditions: trails are in great shape. A few minor blowdowns along the way to step over and one go around near some bog bridges. Mud was a non issue even after some heavy morning rain. Bugs were only an issue on top and not bad.
Comments: got off to a late start around noon after a very lazy morning drinking coffee. A somewhat quick hike/trail run up to the summit was followed by a short rest where I was treated to various ridges of the Pressies coming into view through the under cast. It had been pouring rain a few hours prior but was now perfect. I hiked out the same route. Saw a few other hikers but suprisingly no thru hikers on the trail.
