Date of Hike: April 26, 2008

Trail Conditions: Lower third of the trail was dry, middle third was monorail-monotony and the top third was a mixture of firmer snow and bare rocks. Stream crossings on this trail are quite easy, even this time of year.

Special Equipment Required: We carried snowshoes most of the way and used them on the Sosman trail as it was softer then the Tecumseh Trail with very deep post holes everywhere. Wore micro spikes mostly, and sometimes we were in bare boots.

Comments: Optional - Good choice for a spring hike as the stream crossings were a breeze and the trail was not muddy at all. We hiked over to the top of the ski trails and followed the access road back down for a 6 mile loop, beautiful spring day!
