June 17, Middlesex Trail, loop up Hunger, return via White Rocks.
Trail in excellent shape, easy to follow. Nice three hour morning jaunt with time for views on Hunger.
Needed equipment: DEET !! (The mosquitoes were as voracious and swarmy as any cloud I've ever seen.
This is a trail that my mother and grandfather blazed (after getting lost on it) from about 1930 to WWII. This was a pilgrimage hike.
