Did Mt Jefferson on 10.10.10 via Caps Ridge trail.
Was VERY windy but no special equipment needed. Trail conditions were fair, ice was starting to form the last half mile to and from summit. A lot of frost buildup but no snow yet. A few weeks and we'll have to break out the snow shoes!
ps - make sure to bundle up! Had winter hat and plenty of layers but should have brought gloves as well.
