Trail is hard packed to the summit, but post-holed and more or less......a mess! About 4 trees to duck under, 1 to step over. Small amount of ice once you hit the ledgy summit area, but it was easy to walk around or on the bare rock. We barebooted and had no problems.
Small amount of wind, but great 360 degree views from Mansfield to Washington to Bromley today due to high cloud cover. Saw no one else on the trail, just snowmobilers on the road. Large spot to park where the road is plowed to on Kearsarge Mtn. rd. roughly .5 from the trailhead.
