A late start today up the Old Bridle Path and the Greenleaf trail.
The lower part of the trail still has some loose rocks from the storm a while back.
The trail remained dry until some ice 1/4 of a mile prior to the hut, and another 1/4 of it beyond the hut. Glad to put my microspikes to work!
The rest of the way up, aside from one icy crossing, was really dry.
The sun was out with the only cloud being stagnant, across the street, above Lonesome Lake. Really windy above the trees, per usual.
Microspikes recommended. Not necessarily required yet. And some good wind protection essential.
