This was from a week ago but I figured I'd post anyway. This was the coldest hike Marlie has done so far and she handled it well. ~5 degrees and ~20 mph wind on the summits although the wind was much less on our return over Liberty. We just had to keep moving. We were first up and first down, completing the hike in 4 hr 45 min.

I put up a TR from my phone at Basin parking lot (kind of in a rush) and forgot to mention that if travelling the bike path for any distance with a dog you will want a leash. While empty first thing in the morning, we were passed by 2 dozen or so snowmobilers on the way out in the short 1/4 stretch that we walked. They were all obeying the 25 mph speed limit and one even thanked me while I stood off to the side holding Marlie's collar.
