Hiked over the top of Mt Major, down the back to the Quarry spur junction, over East and West Quarry and then bush whacked to the Straightback - Anne link and hiked back over to Mt Major and our car. 7 miles R-T with almost 2500 feet of ascent total.
Trails all dry and well past snow free! Logging operations have left strips of "cleared" areas that were a mess, but were easily crossed - someone has put some colored plastic tape in the branches where ever you needed to find the trail.
Great having the Belknap's so close, saved an hour and 1/2 driving and got a great work out done and never even saw one other hiker until we got back to Mt Major on our return.
