The sun made a brief appearance on the Pumpelly Trail which was in great shape today under mostly overcast skies. Parts of the trail were a little wet and muddy, and some rocks were slippery due to moisture and lots of leaves covering them. Ice was seen in some places particularly closer to the summit which was very windy and cold. No special equipment was needed other than warm clothes and gloves. Rabbit, hawk, and crow were observed. Panoramic views were awesome!
