How bad will be Rte 93 be on Sunday?

I have never experienced it but have heard about it.

We have a bike ride planned on Sunday and will be going by there at about 6-7-8 AM.

I suspect that the return, somewhere around sunset, will be a nightmare, and am thinking about Rte 91.

BTW, if anyone is interested, (please note date change from 9/17 to 9/18 because of weather.) here is link to ride?

Thanks for the info,

I can not speak as to how bad the drive up might be.......... but the return will be hell. I got stuck on 93 last year in some NASCAR traffic and it almost made me wish I had not gone hiking that day.

Good luck!!!

The drive up will probably be OK as many people will already be in the area.

Sunset is probably about the worst time to be going through Concord on I-93 although with rain delays it's hard to guess when the race will end. Depending on where you live, it would be worth the extra distance to go via I-91 or I-95.

Start early, leave early. As long as you're past Concord by 4pm you'll be okay.

I drove by the speedway today while househunting in Canterbury and Gilmanton. Lotsa cars, lotsa speedtraps but the traffic was nothing compared to whats inside Rt 128.
