Is it just me, or is Canon killing Nikon lately? Maybe I'm biased....

Still going to wait for the 5D II to reduce in price instead of jumping for the 7D. But it does look pretty impressive. Full-frame or bust!

Just spent some time comparing images from the 5D2 with the 7D. The 5D2 is less than 1 ISO stop better than the 7D in a noise vs ISO comparison of full scale images. Not bad...

Well, I am similarly biased and I would say that Canon killed off Nikon years ago. But Nikons are still awfully good. And of course you really can't go wrong with any of the dSLRs currently on the market, especially the full frame ones. It is all about one's current investment in glass.

O yeah, O yeah. Full frame getting closer and closer for me. Maybe soon if the 5D II prices drop sufficiently. I have yet to look at the 7D specs in detail, and I will give it some fair consideration also.

The 7D is still a crop frame sensor... I'll wait for the 5D to be affordable sometime in 2021
