Had to take a lawnmower back to a Bartlett small engine repair place, and I damn well was going to take a hike up there, come hell or rain. No rain when I started into Nancy Pond at 9:30 a.m. Cascades very nice. Got to pond and substantial rain started. Got as far as Norcross Pond and turned back before Pemi "lookout." Very enjoyable hike back down in the rain.
