Date of Hike: 8/24/13
Trail: Marston Trail
Trail Conditions: Dry. No downed trees. Trail crew did work last week on lower trail with water bars. Upper mountain has many stretches that need to be brushed.
Special Equipment Required: Cash. $14 entrance fee for Baxter State Park, and they don't take plastic. It's 8 miles back to a general store with an ATM
Comments: This was a beautiful, cloudless day. The view to Katahdin and Traveller Mt was crisp. Distant views to the northern Presidentials
