Mountains: North Twin, South Twin, Galehead
Date: 9/5/09
Trails: North Twin, North Twin Spur, Twinway, Frost, Garfield Ridge, Gale River
Conditions: Wet and muddy in some spots, especially along the Gale River Trail, but otherwise mostly dry. Pole was useful for third stream crossing on North Twin Trail. Bypassed first two crossings via herd path. Both crossings on Gale River Trail were a piece of cake.
Comments: 12 miles, 3 blisters, 1 ranger, 0 animals, abundant sunshine, and a fabulous endorphine high.
