Ossipee Range: Flagg & Sentinel, Sat. 12/17/11
Parked at the Mt. Trail trailhead on Bents Rd. just north of Little Dan Hole Pond.
For the ascent, hiked westerly along the Sentinel Mt. Trail, Sentinel Connector Trail, Canaan Trail, and Mt. Flagg Tr.
Descended via the Mt. Flagg Trail to its base, then followed a woods road easterly back to the car.
Just over 6 miles round trip.
Conditions today: small layer of snow made for slippery footing on the rocky trail; spend some time walking in the woods alongside the trail to avoid slippery rocks.
Lots of water for our canine friends.
Terrific views from both Sentinel and Flagg
