Date of Hike: 6/26/13
Trail Conditions: Few walk around or duck under trees. Trails wet from recent rain. Slide on Owls Head is very doable.
Special Equipment Required: Sandals for 2 water crossings
Comments: I got up early for this one: left the parking lot at 4:30 AM. I broke trail for spiderwebs. Bugs were not bad at all. 2 water crossings that could not be rock hopped were about knee deep. I enjoyed the quick walk to the base of the mountain. I also enjoyed the frequent hand holds needed on the slide. It started to rain on the hike back out, that was less enjoyable.
