Not much new snow down low from Monday's storm. Did the Black Pond bushwhack and followed the old tracks. At the slde we followed the old tracks again up on the left for about 3/4 of the way and then took the herd path to the summit. Lots of snow up high but easy trailbreaking. On the way down we did the Brutie Bushwhack which brought us out to a fabulous open birch glade. We reconnected with the Lincoln Brook Trail between the fist and the second stream crossings.
Wore snowshoes the entire day and carried crampons. No problems on the water crossings. Heard a pack of coyotes yipping in the morning near the Osseo Trail.
