Tr. cond;crusty,post hole issues.1-2 inches down low.Foot of snow up higher.snow was flying all day,fixing some of the issues with the trail.Trail seems very popular.
equipment;snowshoes,no spikes needed today.Usual winter gab.Took snowshoes on and off several times till I gave up on trying to smooth trail out.
comments;fun day except for up top,which was a little rough with cold,blowing snow and wind.was concerned about a group hike in which the leader was having a very rough time.Tryed to talk to highland center about my concerns to no avail,hope all went well with them getting down.Warm temps at start of hike gave way to a temp drop with a attitude.....merry xmas all.
