Access via Airport Road and old RR bed. Trails well signed except where Rampart Trail enters woods opposite Little Cherry Pond Trail. That is where the Colonel Whipple Trail starts going north. Trail is mucky, but has many log bridges in good condition. Logs wrapped in chicken wire to make them less slippery. Did not even need to put gaitors on. Needed a car shuttle to Whipple Road.
