road into coreys

I am looking to do seymour tomorrow.
Has anyone been up there recently? Is the trailhead still open, or do you have to hoof it the extra way down the road?

Also, what are the snow conditions up there, at trailhead and summit?

The road is fine. We only went up to 3400 feet and there was about 2 inches of snow at that elevation. We got views of Seymour and it looked quite white. No idea about the snow depth up top but if I was doing Seymour I'd probably take crampons but not snowshoes and would carry plenty of gloves, shirts etc.
Hopefully it will be a lot colder and dryer for you than it was for us.
