I'm moving back to New Hampshire this summer and I was curious where you runners get your kicks in the Whites or other good mountain runs in New Hampshire. I'm talking trail running here. Thinking back on previous NH hikes I'm thinking that the Moats would make for a great run, but I was curious where the more hardcore runners go.

Thanks for your help!

Ridge running, or flats?

I think the quintessential ridge rune in the Whites run is Franconia Ridge via Falling Waters and the Old Bridal Path. I used to do it every once in a while.

My knees burn just thinking about it.

For flatter trails, the Wilderness trail (maybe with an extension to the Bondcliffs if you're feeling good) or the loop though Zealand notch is nice too.
