Backpacked into base of CB. Dropped packs, put on day packs, and headed up. The trail is awesome! The top indeed had a little blowdown, but you can get over/ under it pretty easy. Donaldson had awesome views, which the picture below was taken from. The hike to emmons -> don -> sew -> back to CB cairn was pretty uneventful, aside from some mud, and awesome people. Thanks to all that offered us water (and gatorade!). We had 4 liters of water between the 2 of us, and somehow we were still dehydrated!
The campsite was nice... not a person within miles. Woke up the next day and decided to scratch seymour and go enjoy the rest of the dacks! Ran into HarryK on the way out to boot!

Nice pic! We did that range last summer and the views were great then too. At the top, we ran into 2 guys who live in the next town over from us. Small world!

HarryK is hard to miss with his VFTT sticker on the front of his pack, eh! :D :D :D

Last summer, there was water along the CB quite high up. Did you have a filter/drops ?

yeah we filtered once we got back on the CB trail.. I think we downed 4 liters in one setting on that stream :)
