Pretty much same as TDawg's post earlier this week. But more melting has occurred so the "iffy" snow patches were pretty well maneuverable around.
Magnificent views from the ridge (which is completely clear of snow).
I had strapped on a pair of black Yaxtrax just as snow patches started but then later noticed Yaxtrax had fallen off. Coming down, I found one of the pair in a bit of a posthole I made coming up. But I did not find the second one. So if anyone sees it please treat it as trash and take it down and throw it out (not very useful on a trail, it seems!). Sorry about that - I do NOT like to leave trash on a trail!
