Weather pretty good up here in NH, except for the cold nights. Thus, some late spring snow lingering on Mt. Tecumseh trail around 3700'. Starts out as some rail just past the 1st brook crossing. During last mile push to jct of Sosman Trail, snow deeper (maybe 2ft) with ice underneath. Able to work around most of it. Then at summit loop, took L loop to summit...no snow from there to summit. R side had snow leading around corner from summit for about 60 yards. Beautiful day atop summit...light winds and nice views, albeit a wooded summit.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Decent boots, trekking poles are nice on descent, especially with the snow. Gaiters not really necessary as are snowshoes/crampons. No bug dope needed either!
