Tecumseh via Mt Tecumseh Trail from WV, 5/14/11

Trail is mostly dry with some spots of mud up until the last stream crossing, then the patchy icy monorail starts. Monorail and snow are avoidable if necessary. I would imagine all traces of winter will be gone after another week or so.

Stream crossings are all open and rock-hoppable.

Light traction was helpful, but two of our four barebooted with no real issues.

Virtually no bugs out - rain kept them at bay.

Wildflowers aplenty!
