Date of Hike: 11/30/08
Trail Conditions: Lovely morning for a walk in the woods. No snow to speak of, icing off the trail. Good views with all the leaves down. Colder overcast blowing in from the west, the outlooks to Monadnock were distinctly chiller than the rest of the trail.
I hiked north from the parking area off Temple Rd, along the ridge to Holt Pk and back. Only saw one other person from trailhead to Holt back to the ledges; then saw another 6 people on the last 1/4 mile.
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: No hunting activity in the area. Most of the hikers I saw had some orange (as I did) or other flourescent colors.
