Tongue Mountain Range - Lake George Wild Forest - 1/1/14

Happy New Year Everyone!

I took advantage of the holiday today by hiking the Tongue Range on Lake George from Fifth Peak down to First Peak and back. Not high peaks, but a great workout and great views none the less.

Blue skies stayed to the north and clouds came in to the south. The pictures look like 2 different trips.

Tough to beat the views from this ridge. The fresh snow really stuck to the trees. It was a great day.
