Washington via Tucks - Oct 8th

Got an email requesting that I post this for James Rutton:

I live in Los Angeles but will be visiting New Hampshire in October. I was thinking about hiking Mt. Washington via the Tuckermans Ravine trail early on the morning of October 8. Since I hear so much about the nasty weather, and because it's never wise to go hiking alone, would anyone like to join me? I don't claim to be an expert hiker, but I do have some peaks under my belt (e.g., Mt. Whitney last month).
