Heard about this from a hiker on Welch Dickey a week or two ago:

Basically the concept is to hike 5 mountains with a combined elevation of about 20,000 feet in one weekend. The peaks are: Osceola, East Osceola, Tecumseh, Welch, Dickey.

Nothing particularly earth shattering, but it seems like kind of a neat way to tie in a few 4K/52WAV hikes in a weekend.

These people seem somewhat math-challenged:
Osceola 4340 + East Osceola 4156 + Tecumseh 4003 + Dickey 2734 + Welch 2605 = 17,838
Looks like you turned around just above high camp :)

Didn't bother to check their math after an evening of trailwork. I can't help but wonder if they originally had it set up as the 5 4Ks and then swapped out the Tripyramids for Welch-Dickey? Nonetheless, it should be interesting to see how it impacts trail use in the valley next weekend.
